Bernardo Gradin

Founder & Chairman, GranBio

Bernardo Gradin is founder and Chairman of GranBio since 2011 and serves as Member of the Board of GranInvestimentos Group, with operations in logistics, port infrastructure and Oil&Gas.

Gradin started his career in the engineering and construction sector, followed by the petrochemical sector, where he held roles with increasing responsibility before becoming CEO of Braskem in 2008.

He is member of the superior council for innovation and competitiveness at FIESP and has been a guest speaker at the World Economic Forum for over ten years.

Gradin holds an Engineering degree from Escola Politécnica de Engenharia Civil at UFBA, Brazil; an MBA from Wharton Business School, U.S.A; and an MA from Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
