Ryan Zebroski currently serves as Engineering and R&D Director at GranBio, bringing over 25 years of experience in project management, greenfield start-ups, technology development, process engineering, and industrial operations. He leads GranBio’s technical strategy, focusing on the scale-up of proprietary biorefinery technologies.

Before joining GranBio, Zebroski served as Director of Technology & Engineering at AVAPCO, LLC, where he successfully demonstrated the Alpena Prototype Biorefinery for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Prior to this, Zebroski provided specialized consulting services to firms across the globe, overseeing high-impact projects including the commissioning of a lactide facility for PURAC Bioquimica in Spain and the development of a large bagasse-to-ethanol project for KL Energy.

Zebroski holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
